The curled bit of parchment was clean and perfectly rolled. Besides the minor indentation where the young girl had held it tight.
To Saito and the others,
My mind is clear on this matter, as is my faith in Hieroneous. I am called and must see to this task this night and on my own. I am sure our paths will cross again quite soon. The bridge must be protected and my path is clear on what I have been asked to do. I would say more but in truth I know not what I have been asked, only that I have been summoned. I know of all, you understand my duty must come first.
