Honor, no. Glory, yes.

Having been kicked out the clan to learn the ways of the world, Shiuske hopes to gain a strong reputation in hopes the clan will not only welcome him back, but treat him as a leader and a man among men (or just with a high level of respect).

Delusional but not bitter...
Glory is just the honor achieved through confrontation with adversaries. Survival and honor are tough to achieve at the same time.
Getting back to your family Honor score (to simply not be at disadvantage with your clan) might be a chore. Of course you could always just try to subjugate them.

That might just happen since Shiuske somewhat wants to do that to the Prince and the Crane Clan. Shiuske would be a compassionate ruler.... he has delusions of grandeur.

Ok, maybe not a ruler as much as an oracle, sage, and/or person of high council.
