Many different types of coinage exist throughout the near realms. For convenience the most common coins are summarized below

Note Elven silver coins have a bluish tinge and frequent handling of the coins may lightly stain the hands. Someone overly concerned with money may be refereed to as having a blue hands.

The Kron plainsmen often use bloodstone pebbles as currency. These are river polish semiprecious stones. They are a deep red color (sometimes with green speckles) and range from the size of a quarter to a peanut butter cup (5gp~20 gp)

Typically Coins are generally well spent anywhere however in certain circles foreign or rare coins may raise eyebrows.
