Saito's Next Move

Saito is going to try and save the young Dragon Lord (his name escapes me) from possession and imprisonment by the cowardly mage (who's name also escapes me but Saito doesn't care about his name anyway). After he finds a way to save the Lord, Saito is going to return him to the Dragon Clan and turn himself in. Now that his vengeance is complete and the demon that forced him to kill Sora is dead, Saito has no reason to escape justice anymore. He is going to return home and face whatever punishment they sentence him to.

His sentence will be to serve as Shiuske's personal bodyguard until Shiuske becomes head of the Lotus Clan and leader of the Council of Justice, Might, and Magic (which may inadvertently get formed by Ma Mably).

Heading up the stairs from the cavern to the towers basement you hear a low rumble like the sound of multitude of bees. It isnt until you reach the ground floor and feel the warm humid air that you recognize the sound as the rush of the waterfall over the tower. It is night and the moon light casts dim shadows in the cave. The unique aroma that fills your nose from moss, a mixture of wet dirt, musty dampness and nutrient rich greenery overwhelms your senses. Investigating the outside you find small trees and shrubs overgrowing the cave's mouth. The remains of the provisions of the 1000 dragons seem gone and none of the ropes or bridgework which allowed access to the tower is to be found. But by all signs it is a pleasant mid-summer night.
